Setting Up Your Rig
1. Power Up
Ensure stable power delivery to your ASIC miners by connecting them to robust power supply units (PSUs). Consistent power is essential for optimal performance.
2. Network Connectivity
Establish a wired network connection between your ASIC miners and your network hub (router or switch) using Ethernet cables. This wired connection provides greater stability compared to wireless options for mining operations.
3. IP Assignment
Identify the network addresses assigned to your ASIC miners by accessing your router's administration panel. Assigning static local IPs to each miner can simplify network management and monitoring.
4. Configuration Access
Access each miner's configuration interface by entering its respective IP address into a web browser. Use the default login credentials provided by the manufacturer to access the control panel.
5. Pool Configuration
Within the miner's control panel, locate the pool configuration settings. Input the required parameters (Protocol, Pool Address, and Worker Name/Address) provided by your chosen mining pool to establish a connection.
6. Ready, Set, Mine
After completing the configuration process, verify the miner's operational status through the monitoring interface within the control panel. This interface will indicate if the device is actively processing data.
7. Rewards Collection
The mining pool will distribute collected block rewards to the designated wallet address specified during pool setup.
